Hi, I'm Richard and I have been a keen amateur photographer ever since I developed my first black and white print in the school photography club.

Travel and landscape photography were my early interests but our dodgy British weather and places of interest cloaked in scaffolding made this a frustrating choice and soon the idea of a nice warm studio beckoned.

I first learnt studio portraiture in the late 70's. The subject fascinated me with the ability to control lighting, direct the model and actually construct photographs. From there it was only a short step into the world of figure and glamour photography which I have been doing now for the last 25 years or more.

I am a member of Norwich Photographic Workshop, a small group of like-minded photographers who meet regularly for studio shoots. I am also vice-chairman of my local camera club at Caister which keeps me involved in a wide range of photographic activities.

I have a grown-up son and live with my wife, Jane in Martham.
